Practicing a Culture of Sharing Every Year with Small Acts of Kindness

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] The Seocho District Council (Chairperson An Jongsuk) delivered a special membership fee to the Korean Red Cross on the 6th to practice the spread of a sharing culture.

The delivery ceremony held at the chairperson's office on the 3rd floor of the district council was attended by Chairperson An Jongsuk, Park Heonhwan and Je Seongsuk, chairpersons of the Korean Red Cross Seocho-Gangnam Support Association, and Kwon Jeongsun, chairperson of the Korean Red Cross Volunteer Association Seocho District Council.

Chairperson An Jongsuk said, “First, I would like to thank the Korean Red Cross officials and volunteers who are continuously carrying out relief activities for the underprivileged in our society despite the difficult economic conditions. Although it is a small amount, I hope the sincerity will be well delivered to those in need, and the Seocho District Council will always join in spreading this sharing culture.”

The special membership fee for the Red Cross is a donation voluntarily sponsored to help neighbors in need and is used for various humanitarian projects such as emergency relief activities and support for vulnerable groups. The Seocho District Council participates in practicing a sharing culture every year through the special membership fee.
