The victim sustained serious abdominal injuries and was transported to a hospital, while the suspect is reported to have attempted suicide immediately after the crime.

According to the Yeongdeungpo Police Station, at around 9:15 a.m., a report was received that an employee stabbed another employee with a weapon in the basement restaurant of a securities firm building in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, prompting police and fire authorities to respond.

The male victim received emergency treatment at the scene for serious injuries and was then taken to a hospital for further care.

The suspected 60-year-old female suspect was found unconscious at the scene. Police believe she attempted suicide after committing the crime.
