[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] Former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon raised his voice on the 11th toward pro-Moon Jae-in commentators, saying, "Just because you live that way doesn't mean others live the same way."

On that day, Jin posted on his Facebook, "One foolish pro-Moon commentator appeared on a broadcast and complained that I secured a column in Kyunghyang Newspaper as a reward for defending reporter Yoo Hee-gon," he said.

Jin said, "If I were thinking about making money, I would have already licked that person's behind with my mouth like they do," adding, "Dogs naturally bark for the one who feeds them, but to be a proper commentator, you have to be a wild dog. I am a wild dog who knows how to take care of my own livelihood."

He continued, "If you go against the regime, you get tired, lose your job, and your lectures get cut off," emphasizing, "Of course, there is economic damage, but when you think about the common people who worry about making a living every day, this life is still a luxury."

Jin also stated, "Commentary should be a 'public' political activity for the country and society. There are logics and ethics to be observed there," and added, "(However) these days, young pro-Moon commentators naturally regard this as a 'private' profit-making activity. They have no awareness of publicness."

He then pointed out, "(They think) if they provide lip service, the power pays them in return. So there is no logic or ethics involved. They start their precious lives doing the dirty work of gangsters hired by power."

Finally, Jin said, "If they want to live rotten from a young age, I can't stop them, but they should not be mistaken that others live the same way just because they do," and added, "This kind of posturing seems to be a privilege of the 586 generation. Sometimes I feel sorry and apologetic, wondering if our generation, having become the vested interest, has even taken away their opportunities."
