On the 10th, the production team of TV Chosun's entertainment program 'The Taste of Wife Nowhere in the World' announced that Ham So-won donated 10,000 masks through Uiwang City Hall in Gyeonggi Province to prevent additional infections and the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The production team said, "The 10,000 masks donated by Ham So-won are expected to be distributed to vulnerable groups in health and medical care, such as elderly living alone, children, and low-income families," adding, "Although it is a small sharing, we hope it helps in many places so that all of Korea can overcome this well."
Ham So-won said, "I have been thinking about ways to help since the early outbreak of the novel coronavirus," and added, "I believe that a healthy society is one where people can help each other especially in difficult times."
She continued, "I will continue to extend a helping hand to those who are more in need than myself."
Previously, Ham So-won established herself as a celebrity who practices good deeds after it was revealed later that she had donated during the Sichuan earthquake.
