[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] GS Construction announced on the 11th that it has released a complex information video for 'Ansan Grand City Xi,' a mini new town-scale complex with a total of 7,653 households.
The video, titled 'Show Me the Xi,' can be viewed on the official website and the YouTube channel 'Xi TV.' It visits Xi apartments where move-ins have been completed or are in progress, showing detailed views from the exterior and landscaping to community facilities and the interior of the units. It allows viewers to check the unique features of each housing type, actual views, and orientation as if they were visiting in person. Especially given the nature of apartments where outsiders find it difficult to enter the complex, this video is expected to provide practical assistance. The Grand City Xi video is characterized by separately produced segments for 'interior' and 'complex' for each unit, providing detailed information before move-in.
In the Show Me the Xi video, a real estate consultant and a reporter appear, touring various parts of the complex and discussing the apartments. The reporter expresses various questions about internal specialized designs and the wall pad system, representing the viewer's perspective, while the consultant provides detailed answers, resolving the curiosity of the audience. By showing directly through video and delivering expert commentary, it is much easier for viewers to understand due to audiovisual effects. Each video emphasizes the differentiated features of each complex, enhancing the viewer's understanding of the respective apartments.
Above all, the fact that it meticulously shows the actual interior of new apartments rather than models or graphics makes it useful information for prospective buyers. Especially notable is that viewers can see the apartments without physically visiting, accompanied by licensed real estate agents, and the video avoids the risk of 'visual deception' often caused by photos that make interior spaces appear larger than they actually are.
Particularly noteworthy is that Show Me the Xi can serve as an assistant when conducting direct transactions between individuals. Recently, as the burden of brokerage fees has increased, more buyers are engaging in direct transactions with sellers, and Show Me the Xi is attractive because it provides necessary residential information for such transactions.
Not limited to the metropolitan area, videos are produced and steadily uploaded after move-in for Xi apartments in any region, so prospective buyers can explore complexes nationwide from the comfort of their rooms with just a click of a finger.
A GS Construction official said, "We are producing videos so that general buyers can carefully check with their own eyes and obtain expert information without having to visit real estate agencies," adding, "We aimed to provide practical help by showing the actual interiors of Xi apartments without embellishment so that buyers can make their own judgments."
Meanwhile, Grand City Xi consists of 16 buildings ranging from two basement floors to a maximum of 49 floors above ground, with a total of 4,283 households (3,728 apartments and 555 officetels). The apartments are mainly composed of units with exclusive areas of 59 to 101 square meters, including 100 terrace houses (68 to 95 square meters) and 13 penthouses (125 to 140 square meters). Especially, when the second phase of Grand City Xi (2,872 apartments and 498 officetels), scheduled for completion in October next year, is fully occupied, it is expected to become a super-large complex including residential complexes, multiplexes, and business districts, establishing itself as a landmark of Ansan.
Grand City Xi has been spotlighted as the first Xi brand in Ansan and the tallest complex in the area, recording the highest competition rate of 100.8 to 1 (exclusive 140㎡P) by housing type during the actual sale. Contracts were also fully closed within five days. In particular, interest has increased as it is considered a representative beneficiary area with the realization of the Shinansan Line double-track railway, one of the transportation benefits in the metropolitan area last year. Once the Shinansan Line opens, the travel time from Ansan (Hanyang University Station) to Yeouido is expected to be drastically reduced from the current 100 minutes to 25 minutes (express train basis).
