[Asia Economy (Sejong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Sejong City is recruiting consigned institutions to conduct informatization education for information-disadvantaged groups such as persons with disabilities and the elderly residing in the region.

The city announced on the 11th that it will recruit the '2020 Informatization Education Consigned Institutions for Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly' by the 21st of this month.

The consigned institutions will be selected as three institutions for persons with disabilities and one institution for the elderly, and will perform tasks such as education and promotion, recruitment and management of trainees, selection and management of instructors, and reporting of educational achievements.

Applicants must be institutions or organizations qualified as non-profit corporations, social welfare corporations, or equivalent under local laws, and must have facilities such as classrooms capable of informatization education and computers that can accommodate simultaneous education for 10 or more people.

Institutions or organizations wishing to participate should prepare related documents such as a business plan and apply through the National Treasury Subsidy Integrated Management System within the deadline.

After selecting the consigned institutions, the city plans to conduct related education for about 900 people, including persons with disabilities and their immediate family members, and elderly people aged 55 or older, from April to November.

For more detailed information regarding the recruitment of consigned institutions, inquiries can be made through the city's Information and Statistics Officer.
