Over 80 Rusted Shells Found at Construction Site in Guro-gu, Seoul

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] About 80 mortar shell-shaped explosives, presumed to be unexploded ordnance used during the Korean War, were discovered at a new construction site in Guro-gu, Seoul.

According to the Seoul Guro Fire Station on the 10th, at around 2:50 PM, dozens of old unexploded ordnance were found at a new construction site in Guro-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul, following a report from a construction worker.

The authorities are conducting explosive disposal operations at the site while searching the surrounding area to check for additional explosives.
