[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Hyesoo] Kim Namgil appeared as the new mentor on SBS's "Master in the House," immediately raising the atmosphere with his enthusiastic energy.
On that day, the hint fairy for the new mentor was actress Jeon Do-yeon. While talking with the members, she gave a hint that the person had worked with her on a project and recently won an acting award. From this comment, the members instinctively realized that Kim Namgil, who won the 2019 SBS Acting Award, was the new mentor.
The members went to the location directed by the mentor and confirmed that the new mentor was Kim Namgil. Kim Namgil expressed that although "Master in the House" was a bit daunting, he was invited to join like an orientation for the new semester to have fun together.
Then, Kim Namgil suggested addressing each other as hyung (older brother) and dongsaeng (younger sibling), and took out a schedule he had prepared himself. He said the first rule was to walk a lot, proposing that they communicate with each other while walking together.
In response to Kim Namgil's suggestion, Lee Seunggi asked if the idea of walking a lot was influenced by Ha Jungwoo from the movie "Closet," which they recently appeared in together. Kim Namgil replied that both he and Ha Jungwoo usually walk alone, but since they were working on a movie together, he enrolled as a new student at the walking school where Ha Jungwoo is the principal.
He especially mentioned that Ha Jungwoo's walking school imposes a fine if one does not walk at least 10,000 steps a day, which caused laughter.
Meanwhile, the movie that hint fairy Jeon Do-yeon and new mentor Kim Namgil appeared in together is the hard-boiled melodrama "The Shameless."
The SBS variety show "Master in the House" airs every Sunday at 6:25 PM.
