[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] The Gwanak Police Station in Seoul announced on the 9th that they have arrested Kim Mo (46) on charges of attempted murder for pulling out a weapon and swinging it while drinking with a friend.
Kim is accused of stabbing Mr. A with a weapon he was carrying during an argument with Mr. A at a market in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, around 6:40 PM on the 6th.
Mr. A, who was injured in the chest area, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.
The police are investigating the exact motive and circumstances of the incident with Kim.
