[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] Former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon criticized Justice Minister Chu Mi-ae for deciding not to submit the indictment of the Blue House’s ordered investigation and election interference case to the National Assembly, calling it a typical case of "Naeronambul" (a Korean acronym meaning "If I do it, it's romance; if others do it, it's an affair").
On the 6th, at a public debate titled "Is it the Cho Kuk Incident or the Prosecution Incident?" held in Yeouido, Seoul under the weekly Kukmin Ilbo, former professor Jin said, "The indictment has been made, but they are not even allowing the indictment to be disclosed."
He pointed out, "They brought up the human rights frame because they themselves became the problem," adding, "How did they treat Choi Soon-sil and Jung Yoo-ra? Didn’t they even break exclusive news about Choi Soon-sil dropping her shoe?"
Former professor Jin said, "The Moon Jae-in administration conducted intense investigations into dead power," and added, "Former Justice Minister Cho Kuk strengthened the special investigation unit, caught Lee Myung-bak, and exposed judicial corruption."
He then criticized, "Now, before the conclusion has even been reached, they say the investigation into former Minister Cho is an excessive investigation."

On the same day, Kim Ho-chang, CEO of Upstudy, criticized the prosecution regarding the admission issues of former Minister Cho Kuk’s children, saying, "The admission issue of former Minister Cho’s children is a simple case that can be asked to an admissions expert," and added, "They conducted a search and seizure and investigated a case past the statute of limitations for six months over such an issue."
Kim stated, "There is no obligation to submit documents related to volunteer work for admissions. It is even less formal than a leave of absence certificate," and argued, "Trying to find this through a six-month search and seizure is not normal."
In response, former professor Jin said, "Why would they diligently forge meaningless documents?" and rebutted, "When they applied to the Pusan National University Medical School, there was a 'President’s Commendation.' It is clearly stated in the admissions guidelines, so saying it is useless makes no sense."
He emphasized, "The most important part is that all the credentials used for admission were forged," and said, "The controversies in the media are about whether the documents were forged, and I myself resigned to reveal the fact that the certificates were forged."
He further pointed out, "The problem is that it is being portrayed as if the student Cho Min entered the university through legitimate means."
