Hana Bank China Branch Donates 3 Million Yuan in China... "To Be Used for COVID-19 Damage Recovery"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Hana Bank's local subsidiary in China, Hana Bank China Co., Ltd., announced on the 5th that it has donated a total of 3 million yuan (approximately 510 million KRW) to aid recovery from the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia), which is spreading worldwide, and to help eradicate the virus.


Of the donation, 2.5 million yuan will be donated to the Wuhan Charity Federation, officially designated by the Chinese government. Through a specialized fund for novel coronavirus prevention, the money will be used for government-led vaccine development, construction of patient treatment facilities, and emergency protective equipment funding.


The remaining 500,000 yuan will be used to purchase masks, the most needed relief supplies in China, from Korea and donated to relief organizations to be provided where relief supplies are needed.
