[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Linkshops (CEO Seo Kyung-mi), which operates the largest Dongdaemun wholesale clothing brokerage platform in Korea, announced on the 3rd that its consignment delivery fulfillment service "Gojip Delivery," launched in mid-last month, surpassed 10,000 transactions within just two weeks of service.
Gojip Delivery, which started on the 20th of last month, provides shopping malls with a full range of services from product purchasing, inspection and quality control, inventory and logistics management, to packaging and delivery. Customers can utilize real-time inventory management as well as settlement and accounting services.
The company stated that Gojip Delivery exceeded a total of 10,000 orders within two weeks of service, and orders have surged immediately after the Lunar New Year holiday as users avoid direct visits to the Dongdaemun market due to the coronavirus situation. To show appreciation for the support, Linkshops is running an event throughout February where all customers using Gojip Delivery can use the delivery service at a discounted rate of 1,000 KRW per order, down from 2,000 KRW.
Seo Kyung-mi, CEO of Linkshops, said, "Inquiries and orders from shopping malls have rapidly increased since the service opened," adding, "Based on our technological capabilities, we will provide fast settlement and statistical systems and strive to further improve services for the convenience of wholesale and retail store owners."
