Tottenham won 2-0 at home against Man City in the 25th round of the 2019-20 English Premier League (EPL) held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, UK, on the 3rd (Korean time).

On this day, Son Heung-min scored an additional goal in the second half to secure the win. This goal was Son's 7th league goal, marking his third consecutive goal following league matches against Norwich City on the 23rd of last month and the FA Cup match against Southampton on the 26th.

Tottenham faced several scoring threats in the first half. At the 26th minute, a defensive error by Davinson Sanchez led to a scoring opportunity for Sergio Ag?ero. Fortunately, the shot hit the goalpost and bounced out.

At the 38th minute, Serge Aurier committed a tackle while trying to stop Ag?ero's breakthrough, which was reviewed by Video Assistant Referee (VAR) and resulted in a penalty kick. Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris saved the shot taken by Ilkay G?ndogan, averting the crisis.

Tottenham ended the first half 0-0 and launched a counterattack in the second half. At the 4th minute of the second half, a chaotic situation unfolded as Raheem Sterling tried to receive a penetrating pass from Riyad Mahrez. Ag?ero followed up with a shot but was blocked by Tottenham's physical defense.

At the 15th minute of the second half, a turning point occurred. Manchester City's Oleksandr Zinchenko was sent off due to a second yellow card after committing a reckless foul while trying to stop Harry Winks during a Tottenham counterattack.

With a numerical advantage, Tottenham took the lead at the 18th minute of the second half when Steven Bergwijn scored his debut goal from a corner kick opportunity.

Tottenham extended the lead as Son Heung-min scored an additional goal. At the 26th minute of the second half, Son received a pass from Tanguy Ndombele and scored with a right-footed shot.

Afterwards, Tottenham successfully defended against Manchester City's late offensive and finished the match without conceding a goal.

With this, Tottenham added 3 points, moving up to 5th place in the league standings with 10 wins, 7 draws, and 8 losses (37 points).
