Beauty & healthcare specialist Cellreturn announced on the 30th that its CEO, Kim Ilsu, participated as a speaker at the AYPE (Asia Pacific Youth Exchange) Thailand Symposium held at the United Nations Conference Center in Bangkok, Thailand, becoming the first domestic company to do so.
On the 17th, Cellreturn CEO Kim Ilsu was invited as a keynote speaker at the opening of the APYE Thailand Symposium held at the UN Conference Center (UNCC) in Bangkok, Thailand, where he delivered a speech on "Leadership and Vision" to a global youth audience.
APYE is an international conference on sustainable youth exchange in the Asia-Pacific region, jointly hosted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Asia-Pacific countries to expand the participation of young people in their 20s and 30s in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agreed upon by 193 countries at the UN General Assembly. Approximately 180 youth leaders from 30 Asia-Pacific countries participated in this APYE Thailand Symposium.
At the event, CEO Kim shared Cellreturn’s story of pioneering the domestic beauty device market with its LED masks, along with the company’s new vision of being "a company that exists for humanity’s beauty and healthy life" and the process of establishing this vision. Through this, he delivered a message to global youth leaders who are contemplating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Meanwhile, taking the opportunity of attending the APYE Symposium, Cellreturn also engaged in discussions regarding global CSR programs. They visited UNDP Thailand and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) to have detailed talks on ways to contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the international community and solving local community issues in Thailand, alongside APYE and the Urban Youth Academy.
Cellreturn plans to promote the ‘Return to LIGHT’ project, which supports the installation of solar streetlights to illuminate underdeveloped areas in Thailand, through collaboration with international organizations and local Thai groups. The first phase of this project is expected to be implemented as early as the first half of this year.
