CBA Ventures Co., Ltd. announced that it will recruit promising domestic small and medium-sized enterprises and startups to hold a local investment attraction program in India in early March.
The ‘IR Roadshow to India’ is a private-led program conducted together with Mumbai Angels Network, an angel investment network in India. It is a paid event where investors interested in investing in domestic participating companies are selected from a pool of over 400 angel investors to conduct private IR sessions. CBA Ventures and Mumbai Angels plan to operate mutual visit IR programs more than four times a year, and this program will be held from February 29 to March 6 in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi.
On the 28th, CBA Ventures held a briefing session for the ‘IR Roadshow to India’ project, where companies that expressed their intention to participate in the program and those interested in entering the Indian market were given detailed explanations about the program, the current market status and characteristics of India, Mumbai Angels’ investment portfolio, and local investment attraction strategies.
The announced investment roadshow program provides not only IR pitching but also a 1:1 consultation space with local partners for companies seeking business partner matching. Other events include joint IR sessions with Indian startups, visits to local companies/institutions, and networking programs. Various individual programs will be prepared according to the needs of the companies.
CBA Ventures operates various customized methods to support the success of local investment attraction for participating companies, including company analysis by Mumbai Angels’ investment mentors, connections with Indian accelerators and investors for IR material review, and CBA Ventures India online IR pitching mentoring.
In addition to supporting investment attraction IR, CBA Ventures supports participating companies by registering on Mumbai Angels’ online investment platform, providing opportunities to participate in CBA Ventures’ overseas expansion programs, local business mentoring, and offering investment attraction opportunities through CBA Ventures’ own or affiliated investment funds.
Seodongwook, CEO of CBA Ventures, stated, “Interest in entering India is expanding from startups to small and medium-sized enterprises, and the importance of global accelerators that can lead their local expansion is growing. CBA Ventures will do its best to establish a systematic support system tailored to the growth stage needs of companies to create successful cases of entry into India.”
This program is conducted quarterly since 2020, and additional business briefing sessions are held upon company requests, so interested companies can participate through separate requests.
