[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] On the 29th, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced that it will recruit 22 candidates for the Young Employee Housing Cost Support Project from the 28th of this month to the 21st of next month.
The "Young Employee Housing Cost Support Project" is a program designed to reduce the housing cost burden for young people working at small and medium-sized enterprises in the region and to help them settle stably. It plans to provide monthly support of 100,000 KRW for up to one year to help young people achieve economic independence.
Applicants must be young workers aged between 18 and 39 who, as of the application date, have an address in Muan-gun and work at a small or medium-sized enterprise in the province, residing in either a jeonse (with a loan of 50 million KRW or more) or monthly rental housing, and have an income at or below 150% of the median income.
However, low-income housing benefit recipients, homeowners, and those who are beneficiaries of similar housing-related projects by the state or local governments are excluded from eligibility.
Applicants wishing to apply must visit the Regional Economy Division of the county office in person to submit the application form and required documents. If visiting in person is difficult, a proxy may submit the application with a power of attorney.
If selected as a beneficiary, the support funds will be paid after verifying the payment details of jeonse or monthly rent, address, and employment status at the small or medium-sized enterprise at the end of each quarter.
