Choi Hyung-sik, Damyang County Governor, to Hold 'Open Dialogue with Residents' Next Month

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Choi Hyungsik, the mayor of Damyang County, will promote an 'Open Dialogue with Residents' from the 4th to the 7th of next month to realize a 'Happy City Damyang' through empathy and communication with the residents.

According to Damyang County on the 29th, in order to practice communication administration that empathizes with residents and listens to their opinions during the 7th term of the civilian government, dialogues with residents will be held by region to intensively collect residents' opinions on county administration.

This dialogue will depart from the previous method focused mainly on small-scale project proposals, emphasizing 'participatory administration implementation' by lowering the threshold of administration through frank discussions with residents to seek solutions and win-win plans for current issues in towns and townships.

Before promoting the dialogue with residents, suggestions from residents will be received, and the relevant departments will visit the sites and provide written guidance on action plans, thereby resolving residents' long-standing demands.

The open dialogue with residents will be held in the following order: ▲ 3 PM on the 4th at Damyang Culture Center (Damyang-eup, Wolsan-myeon, Mujeong-myeon, Geumseong-myeon, Yong-myeon) ▲ 3 PM on the 5th at Goseo Literary Arts Center (Goseo-myeon, Gasamunhak-myeon, Changpyeong-myeon, Daedeok-myeon) ▲ 3 PM on the 7th at Subuk Welfare Center (Bongsan-myeon, Subuk-myeon, Daejeon-myeon).

For more details, please contact the nearest town or township office or the County Office's Autonomous Administration Division.
