[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Jeong Yun-mo, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 29th that it was selected as an excellent institution in the '2019 Anti-Corruption Policy Evaluation' hosted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
Kibo has achieved an excellent rating for six consecutive years from 2014 to 2019. Among the 134 public-related organizations subject to evaluation, only 39 institutions, including Kibo, achieved an excellent rating for two consecutive years.
The Anti-Corruption Policy Evaluation is a system established to assess the voluntary anti-corruption efforts of public institutions and to enhance the level of integrity, with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission overseeing the evaluation. In 2019, a total of 270 institutions, including 134 public-related organizations, were evaluated, and Kibo received a perfect score in the operation of anti-corruption systems, achieving a final score of 90.85 points.
In 2019, Kibo promoted anti-corruption policies based on the strong will of its management. By operating a systematic and robust ethical management system, it was selected as an excellent institution in public institution integrity for two consecutive years and also obtained the international standard 'ISO 37001 certification' for anti-corruption management systems.
Jeong Yun-mo, Chairman of Kibo, stated, "The driving force behind being selected as an excellent institution was that all employees consistently performed their duties with integrity and fairness and actively participated in anti-corruption and integrity policies, creating a corruption-free and honest Kibo." He added, "We will continue to lead ethical management for small and medium-sized enterprises and strive to eradicate even invisible corruption in the course of business operations."
