Cass to Launch 'Zodiac Edition Package' Featuring New Year's Horoscope


[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] OB Beer’s 'Cass' announced on the 28th that it will release a limited edition 'Cass Constellation Edition' package nationwide through major supermarkets to celebrate the New Year.


The Cass Constellation Edition, launching on the 29th, features 355ml Cass cans with a signature blue background and uses four types of luminous colors?green, blue, pink, and orange?to depict 12 constellation images. The front displays the Cass logo along with the shape and name of each constellation, while the back is stylishly designed with symbols of the 12 constellations. The side indicates the period corresponding to each constellation, allowing consumers to check their constellation by date, and a QR code at the bottom lets them check their New Year constellation horoscope.


Last year on the 31st, Cass held the New Year countdown festival ‘Cass Blue Playground World Countdown’ and specially produced a small quantity of the Cass ‘Black Edition’ with a New Year constellation horoscope concept for participants. The package’s simple and sophisticated design attracted great attention from attendees, and afterward, there was a strong response from consumers searching for purchase locations on social networking services (SNS). In response, Cass changed the design to its signature blue color for the New Year and officially commercialized it as the Cass Constellation Edition.


Nam Eun-ja, Vice President of Core Brands at OB Beer, said, “We launched the Constellation Edition to repay the interest shown by consumers in Cass,” and added, “Cass will continue various marketing activities that can meet the rapidly changing interests and needs of consumers.”
