[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] It is a breather for defending champion Bryson DeChambeau (USA).

On the early morning of the 26th (Korean time) at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (par 72, 7,301 yards), the third day of the European Tour Omega Dubai Desert Classic (total prize money $3.25 million) ended with him adding 2 under par to tie for 3rd place (9 under par, 207 strokes). This group includes Kurt Kitayama (USA) and Tom Lewis (England). Wu Ashun (China) took the lead (11 under par, 205 strokes), and Victor Perez (France) is chasing in 2nd place (10 under par, 206 strokes).

DeChambeau started from a tie for 2nd place, one stroke behind the leader, recording 6 birdies and 4 bogeys. After a poor performance with 2 birdies and 3 bogeys over 11 holes, he changed the momentum with consecutive birdies on holes 12 and 13. Although he faltered with a bogey on the 14th hole (par 4), he secured consecutive birdies on the 17th and 18th holes, setting up the final round. He is only 2 strokes behind the leader, still in a position to aim for a second consecutive victory. Last year, he showed remarkable strength by shooting 8 under par on the final day to achieve a huge 7-stroke victory.

Wu Ashun surged to the top of the leaderboard with 1 eagle and 4 birdies (1 bogey). He is ranked 366th in the world. Lewis fired a 7 under par round to join the race for the championship. Eddie Pepperell is in 6th place (8 under par, 208 strokes), Tommy Fleetwood (both England), Nacho Elvira (Spain), and Dean Burmester (South Africa) are tied for 7th place (7 under par, 209 strokes), and Shane Lowry (Ireland) is tied for 10th place (6 under par, 210 strokes).
