[Asia Economy Reporter Shinwon Yoon] Gwak Sang-do, a member of the Liberty Korea Party, stated regarding the accusation made by Moon Da-hye, daughter of President Moon Jae-in, "I welcome it if the facts can be clarified."

On the 23rd, Gwak said through his Facebook, "I welcome the measures taken by the Blue House and President Moon's daughter Moon Da-hye to clarify the truth. I will cooperate in the investigation to distinguish what is false. I am concerned that the accusation might end up being just words."

Gwak pointed out, "Moon said in a media interview today that 'except for going to Thailand, the rest is false,' but nothing has been revealed about what is false. Please specify exactly what is false."

He also demanded, "Please clarify in front of the public why the president's daughter moved to Thailand, how much the overseas security costs are, whether the president's son-in-law has a job in Thailand, and if not, how he can spend about 100 million won annually on overseas living expenses."

Earlier, on the 21st, Gwak claimed at the National Assembly, "I have confirmed that the son of President Moon's daughter Moon attends a top-tier international school in Bangkok, Thailand, which costs 40 million won per year in tuition."

In response, Moon said in an interview with Kukmin Ilbo, "The spread of false information about my family has gone too far. I can endure stories about myself, but touching my child is really hard to tolerate. Gwak keeps talking without evidence, using hearsay and 'if not, then forget it' style," and announced legal action.
