[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saehye] Starbucks Coffee Korea announced on the 23rd that it will launch two Bearista Starbucks cards and two Bearista lamps in collaboration with BTS.
The Bearista Starbucks cards, available from the 28th, come in two designs: one holding a Starbucks cup and the other holding the official BTS cheering tool, the ARMY Bomb. These cards use RFID technology for payment with just a touch. Additionally, a keychain and card stand holder are included, allowing users to attach the card and store it by placing it in the stand holder. The cards can be purchased for 20,000 KRW, with an initial charge starting from 30,000 KRW.
The Bearista lamps, which can be used as mood lights, come in two designs featuring Bearista holding an ARMY Bomb and a golden star. They will be sold as a set with one tall-sized seasonal beverage for 18,000 KRW on a first-come, first-served basis.
Starbucks is running the ‘Be the Brightest Stars’ campaign in collaboration with BTS until the 6th of next month to support the dreams of Korean youth. By partnering with BTS, who have a positive influence across society, the campaign delivers a message of empathy and hope to the youth, the future of Korea, saying “You are a star that shines just as you are.”
During the campaign season, Starbucks will donate a portion of the sales proceeds from BTS collaboration items to support the ‘Youth Independence Project’ in partnership with the Beautiful Foundation. Through this campaign, Starbucks plans to accelerate its unique youth support initiatives in the future.
