[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Geumseong Baekjo announced on the 23rd that it plans to supply about 3,700 households this year in Daegu, Incheon, and other areas.
They plan to supply Daegu Technopolis Yemiji & Abbey Newswan in May and Incheon Geomdan New Town Yemiji Phase 2 in October. The apartments will total approximately 2,123 households. In Daejeon, about 835 officetel units in Daedeok Technovalley will be offered for sale.
Cheonan Asan Tangjeong District Yemiji is scheduled to begin construction in April. Under post-sale conditions, 791 households will be sold in the second half of 2021.
Daegu Technopolis Yemiji is a residential complex that will also feature the premium commercial facility brand Abbey Newswan. Abbey Newswan, which achieved great success in Gimpo and Dongtan, is a compound word combining 'Avenue,' meaning street or boulevard, and 'Swan.' It is a premium street-type commercial facility brand launched by Geumseong Baekjo in 2017.
The Incheon Geomdan New Town Yemiji Phase 2, scheduled for sale in the second half of the year, will consist of about 1,229 households. The company explained that expectations are high following the successful sale of Yemiji Phase 1 in November last year. Yemiji Phase 1 recorded the highest subscription competition rate and first-priority closing in Geomdan New Town in 2019.
Cheonan Asan Tangjeong District will begin construction in the first half of the year under post-sale conditions. Sales are scheduled for the second half of 2021.
Other supply volumes preparing for sale in the metropolitan area include Pyeongtaek Godeok District Yemiji and Hwaseong Bibong District Yemiji, with sales planned for after 2021.
