Assemblyman Cheon Jeong-bae Holds 'Sharing Event' at Gwangju Seo-gu Social Welfare Center

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Assemblyman Cheon Jeong-bae (Alternative New Party, Gwangju Seo-gu Eul) visited social welfare centers in Geumho-dong and Ssangchon-dong areas of Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 22nd, ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, to hold joint New Year's bows and rice cake soup sharing events.

Assemblyman Cheon stated, "I hope this Lunar New Year will be a joyful and happy time spent with family and many loved ones, and that everyone stays healthy and fulfills all their wishes throughout the year."

He continued, "Last year, including District Mayor Seo Dae-seok and many public officials, worked hard so that our Seo-gu was recognized nationwide as a place with excellent welfare, especially for the elderly. Many seniors have physical difficulties, but without going to nursing homes, they can receive care while staying at home through a project (community care) that Seo-gu, Gwangju, was designated as one of the few leading regions nationwide. We need to develop this project well."

Meanwhile, on the 23rd, Assemblyman Cheon Jeong-bae plans to visit Daemyeong Clean, a waste collection and environmental cleanup company, and the Gwangju Western Agricultural and Marine Products Wholesale Market to listen to Lunar New Year public sentiment and residents' difficulties.
