A Public Office to Be Established in Sinjeong 2-1 Redevelopment Promotion Zone

[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] A public office building will be established within the Sinjeong 2-1 Redevelopment Promotion Zone.

On the 21st, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that at the 1st Urban Redevelopment Committee meeting, the redevelopment promotion plan amendment (draft) to change the public open space within Sinjeong 2-1 Redevelopment Promotion Zone at 1175-28 Sinjeong-dong, Yangcheon-gu, to a public office building and green space was "approved with modifications."

A Seoul city official expressed, "This decision is expected to greatly contribute to community development by relocating and expanding the outdated and cramped public office building, thereby improving the quality of administrative services for local residents, meeting administrative demands, and expanding convenience facilities to secure public interest."
