Samsung C&T Proposes Classic Blue Fashion as 'Color of the Year'

[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Samsung C&T Fashion Division proposed various items using this year’s color, classic blue tones, on the 22nd.

Pantone, which announces the color of the year annually, selected Classic Blue, a comfortable and trustworthy color that captures nature like the sky and sea, as this year’s color.

The blue check jacket from Dutch menswear brand Suit Supply is made with Italian cashmere blend fabric and features details such as patch pockets and shoulder pleats as accents. Pairing it with a black turtleneck knit and gray-tone pants creates a simple yet stylish look.

The blue turtleneck sweater from contemporary casual brand Ambio is made of a cozy cashmere blend material, offering a natural silhouette that is both stylish and comfortable to wear.

Priced at 119,000 KRW, it is a cost-effective classic blue item that anyone can try without burden.

Minimal young contemporary brand Kuho Plus introduced a blue turtleneck knit with a soft texture. Kuho Plus’s turtleneck knit features a slim silhouette with clean lines and distinctive details such as side slits and sleeve buttons.

It can be styled as a one-point look under a black coat or layered with sweatshirts and dresses, making it highly versatile.

The mini crossbody bag from global brand Junji is made of cowhide leather with a deep blue hue, making it attractive. Its minimal square design pairs well with both casual and formal looks.

Beanpole Kids’ school backpack features a blue base with bicycle embroidery, check patterns, and lettering logos, applying Beanpole Kids’ unique design to give a classic yet trendy feel simultaneously.

Compared to the previous year, the weight was reduced by more than 20%, and it incorporates shock absorption, weight distribution functions, breathability, and improved comfort, considering children’s health.

A Samsung C&T Fashion Division official said, “Even choosing just one trendy color item can add sophistication to styling,” and added, “We hope people upgrade their fashion sense based on the items proposed by Samsung C&T.”
