[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Hyundai L&C announced on the 22nd that it participated in 'KBIS 2020,' the largest kitchen and bathroom exhibition in North America.
The event opened the previous day in Las Vegas, USA, and runs until the 23rd. Over 600 companies from around the world are participating. Hyundai L&C exhibited about 140 products, including the new premium line 'Evoke' collection of Kanstone made with 99% pure quartz and the artificial marble 'Hanex' series.
During the exhibition, Hyundai L&C CEO Yoo Jungseok will hold direct meetings with major building material companies in the North American region. He will conduct sales activities targeting local companies participating in the exhibition to secure new clients. The company also plans to actively enhance brand awareness in the North American market.
Through participation in this exhibition, Hyundai L&C plans to expand its North American business partners from the current 3,000 to over 3,500. Through this, the company aims to increase its sales in the North American region to around 200 billion KRW this year, a 25% increase compared to last year.
Choi Kyuhwan, Executive Director of Hyundai L&C Interior Stone Division, said, "We are striving to differentiate our products through facility advancement and premium pattern development in line with the global trend of luxury interior design," adding, "By enhancing brand awareness, we plan to become one of the top 3 brands in the global artificial marble market as well as the North American market within the next three years."
