Applications open until the 28th for prospective entrepreneurs aged 19 and over and startups less than 3 years old... 30 selected to receive workspace, startup education, expert mentoring, and more from February to July
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Guro-gu (Mayor Lee Sung) is recruiting participants for the Startup Support Center until the 28th.
Guro-gu announced on the 22nd that it operates a startup support program to help those with fresh and original business ideas who have not yet started a business, and plans to select 30 participants to support from February to July.
The recruitment fields include new technology, information and communication, knowledge content, publishing and design, marketing and promotion, app development, games, and cultural industries.
Eligibility requires being a prospective entrepreneur aged 19 or older (born before 2002) or an early-stage company that has not passed three years since establishment. Those receiving facility support from national or local governments are excluded.
There is no residency restriction, but preference is given to residents of Guro-gu or those registered with business locations in Guro-gu.
Guro-gu plans to finalize participants in early February through a first round of document screening (preliminary questions, business plan) and a second round of interviews (business plan presentation, Q&A).
Guro-gu provides a shared office space (Mario Tower, 28 Digital-ro 30-gil, Guro-gu) as a startup activity space. It also supports startup education, expert tailored mentoring, and consulting.
Those wishing to apply can submit an online application form through the district office website (http://guro.go.kr) or the Korea Venture Business Association website (https:/www.venture.or.kr).
