This is interpreted as an indirect expression of her intention to run in the general election.

On the same day, Ko revealed this through her Facebook, saying, "Where my heart points. If that is the place I must stand, I will face it confidently."

She introduced her connection with President Moon, saying, "Although it is not a perfect world, I jumped into regime change to make it a little more perfect, and that wind became reality. He became president, fierce like a tiger to his aides but endlessly humble before the people. And I was his voice."

She notably mentioned the 'Bus No. 721' at the beginning, effectively hinting at running in Gwangjin-gu (Eul). The final stop of Bus No. 721 is in Gwangjin-gu. Ko wrote, "One Sunday morning on my way to work, trying to calm my complicated feelings, I boarded Bus No. 721. It was when the demand to run surged."

She added, "When my mind is complicated, I tend to seek places with many people. Seeing the expressions, attire, and walking styles of people living their daily lives for their own reasons helped me organize my thoughts."

Gwangjin-gu (Eul) is the constituency of Minister of Justice Choo Mi-ae, who declared she would not run. The Liberty Korea Party has already started consolidating support with former Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon entering the race.

Ko also explained the background of her decision, saying, "The candlelight revolution that the whole world paid attention to was being diluted by political strife," and "My dream, which I thought was completed, was still unfinished."

She continued, "The muscles I have trained so far urge me to cross the mountain again. They tell me to become stronger. The muscles I have built will support your two legs, and the world you have never been to will present you with another world. Above all, the path you create will become a ray of light for someone," she said.
