Choi Byung-yong, Jeonnam Provincial Assembly Member, Visits Social Welfare Facilities for Lunar New Year Holiday

On that day, Assemblyman Choi, along with Park Young-pyeong, Chairman of the Huayang-myeon Residents' Autonomy Committee, and city hall officials, visited the Geumgangwon welfare facility located in Yeosu City to deliver consolation goods and practice neighborly love for the underprivileged.

He also listened to the current status of welfare facilities through meetings with facility officials and discussed ways to improve existing support policies. He promised to actively engage in discovering welfare policies with continuous interest at the provincial assembly level in the future.

Assemblyman Choi Byung-yong stated, “During the Seollal holiday, warm hands and comfort are needed for neighbors in difficult situations who are more likely to be marginalized,” adding, “I will do my best to create a local community without welfare blind spots by spreading donations and sharing for the underprivileged.”
