Kwangsoo Kim, Chairman of NongHyup Financial Group, Conducts Lunar New Year Visit to Military Unit

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] Kim Kwangsoo, Chairman of NH Nonghyup Financial Group, visited the Navy 2nd Fleet located in Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 21st along with executives and employees to encourage the navy soldiers who are working hard to protect the territorial waters.

Nonghyup Financial visits military units every year ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday. This year, they visited the Navy 2nd Fleet, which plays a pivotal role in protecting the West Sea. Chairman Kim and other Nonghyup Financial executives and employees spent time comforting the soldiers by having lunch together with the crew of the 'Gyeonggi Ship' belonging to the Navy 2nd Fleet and delivering consolation goods.

Chairman Kim said, "I am grateful for the hard work of the navy soldiers who quietly strive to protect the territorial waters even during the holidays, away from their families," adding, "I hope this visit provides some comfort to the soldiers who are devoted to protecting the country and its people despite the cold weather."

Meanwhile, Nonghyup Financial plans to carry out various activities supporting underprivileged groups throughout January and February, which include the Lunar New Year and Jeongwol Daeboreum, under the theme of 'Spending the Holidays Together,' involving all affiliates such as banks, insurance, and securities.
