[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Muan County in Jeonnam announced on the 21st that County Governor Kim San, along with National Assembly member Seo Sam-seok and county council members, visited Muan Traditional Market on the 19th ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday to shop at the traditional market and exchanged New Year's greetings with market merchants and residents.

In particular, the county made extensive promotions to seize the perfect opportunity to revitalize the market by attracting tourists visiting the Cheonsa Bridge, opened in April last year, and the Chilsan Bridge, opened in December, to Muan Traditional Market during this Lunar New Year holiday.

In line with this, the Muan Traditional Market Merchants Association conducted continuous promotional activities by visiting various event venues held on the islands after the opening of Cheonsa Bridge and summer tourist spots, and to welcome the increasing number of tourists following the opening of Chilsan Bridge at the end of last year, they established and operated a mobile market near Doripo.

Additionally, to revitalize the market, they opened and operated a Saturday market, developed representative food items that highlight the uniqueness of Muan Traditional Market, participated in national excellent market expos, and benchmarked famous markets, continuously striving for change to promote the market's development and revitalization.
