Jeonnam Central Child Protection Agency Holds Donation Ceremony to Support Abused Children


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Guk-yeop] The Jeonnam Central Child Protection Agency announced on the 20th that it received a donation of 1 million won from Gieokhaneun Church to support psychological treatment expenses for abused children.


This donation was raised by the congregation of Gieokhaneun Church in Gwangju with the purpose of helping abused children in the local area receive psychological treatment.


Yu Gi-yong, director of the Jeonnam Central Child Protection Agency, said, “Abused children in the community face many psychological difficulties, and I am grateful to the pastor and congregation of Gieokhaneun Church for supporting the psychological treatment expenses of abused children. The donated funds will be used well for psychological treatment of abused children.”


Pastor Park Jae-do, head pastor of Gieokhaneun Church, stated, “I heard that psychological support and treatment for abused children is a very important process, and I hope our children overcome difficult times well and live as healthy members of society.”
