[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam International Education Institute announced on the 21st that it is operating the ‘2020 Foreign Language Teacher Instructional Competency Enhancement Training’ for 42 foreign language teachers from the 20th to the 22nd.
This training is conducted in two divisions targeting secondary Japanese teachers and secondary Chinese teachers to enhance foreign language teachers' subject education competencies and improve expertise in evaluation methods.
The training content includes ▲ Becoming a global citizen teacher in a multicultural era ▲ Various second foreign language educational activities for integration of curriculum-instruction-evaluation-records ▲ Practice of second foreign language formative assessment and evaluation planning ▲ Research on second foreign language project-based instruction methods ▲ Cases of student-participatory instruction practice ▲ Classroom instruction improvement using Google and Chrome.
Jeonnam International Education Institute will continuously cultivate subject education competencies to improve classroom instruction for Japanese and Chinese teachers and provide opportunities for foreign language teachers to create a culture of voluntary lesson sharing.
