[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jucheol In] The Good Day Sharing Foundation held a winter migratory bird feeding event on the 18th at Joonam Reservoir in Changwon, a representative migratory bird habitat in Gyeongnam.
About 100 people, including Foundation Chairman Choi Jae-ho and Changwon Mayor Heo Seong-mu, who attended the event, scattered 1,500 kg of rice seeds in the nearby fields.
The foundation has been holding the feeding event annually since 2010 to provide stable food supply to winter migratory birds such as the Red-crowned Crane, Natural Monument No. 203.
Chairman Choi, who is also the chairman of Muhak Group, said, "I hope the migratory birds that visit Joonam Reservoir every year eat well and spend the winter healthily, return to a good place, and come back again next winter," adding, "I hope the beautiful intention to protect the environment will connect to the beginning of love for the local community."
