Hoban Group Conducts Volunteer Activity for Sharing Goods to Celebrate Lunar New Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Hoban Group announced on the 19th that its employee volunteer team 'Hoban Sarang Nanumi' conducted volunteer activities for underprivileged neighbors in celebration of the Lunar New Year.

On the 18th, the 'Hoban Sarang Nanumi' volunteer team, together with the Seocho-gu Volunteer Center, carried out a 'Happiness Package' distribution event for underprivileged neighbors at Hoban Park Building 2 in Umyeon-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul. About 60 participants, including employees from Hoban Construction's management division and their families, carefully packed items such as rice cake soup rice cakes, yakgwa (traditional honey cookies), gim (seaweed), and soy sauce into the 'Happiness Packages.' The Lunar New Year gift packages made that day are scheduled to be delivered to 200 households, including elderly living alone and low-income families in Seocho-gu.

A Hoban Group official stated, “For our first volunteer activity of 2020, we prepared Lunar New Year gift making that even young children could participate in.” He added, “We hope that the Happiness Packages filled with warm hearts will bring small happiness and help to our neighbors.”
