First, to prevent disasters such as incidents, accidents, and fires directly related to residents’ safety in advance, safety inspections will be conducted at 17 large construction sites, 10 public facilities including the Jungnang-gu Sports Center, 85 gas and fuel supply facilities, and park facilities. In addition, a 24-hour emergency snow removal response system will be maintained for prompt action against cold waves and heavy snowfall.
To address the large amount of waste generated during the Seollal holiday, a comprehensive cleaning task force will be established during the holiday period, with a total of 456 personnel organized and operated. In particular, on the 24th (Friday) and 25th (Saturday), an additional 10 members will be assigned to the night shift of the mobile disposal team to resolve residents’ inconveniences related to cleaning.

The Jungnang-gu Public Health Center will operate an emergency medical system in cooperation with 21 hospitals and clinics and 76 pharmacies to minimize inconvenience caused by medical institution closures. To stabilize prices during Seollal, a price inspection team will be formed to closely monitor the price trends of 18 key items during the holiday in cooperation with price monitoring personnel, and administrative guidance will be given to businesses with excessive price increases.
On the 20th, a price stabilization promotion campaign will be conducted in areas with high pedestrian traffic such as subway stations and traditional markets.
Also, a 24-hour parking complaint duty room will be operated in three shifts daily to promptly handle complaints caused by illegal parking. Enforcement of illegal parking and stopping will be strengthened mainly around Sangbong Terminal, Mangwoo Station, and large marts such as Costco and E-Mart.
