Yu Gu-cheong Announces 'MH Mapo Housing' Policy, a Key Pledge of the 7th Local Government Term, at the 'Chamjoheun Local Autonomy Policy Conference'

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yoodong Gyun, Mayor of Mapo-gu, participated in the 'Good Local Autonomy Policy Conference' held at the multipurpose hall of Seoul City Hall at 2 p.m. on the 17th and announced the ‘MH Mapo Housing’ policy, a flagship pledge project of the 7th local government administration.

The 'Good Local Autonomy Policy Conference' is an event hosted by the Presidential Committee on Autonomy and Decentralization, the National Association of Mayors, Governors, and District Heads, and the Good Local Government Association, and organized by the Korean Local Autonomy Association, aiming to promote the exchange of excellent policies among local governments.

The conference was attended by mayors, governors, and district heads from 44 local governments in the Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon regions.

Since last year, Mapo-gu has been promoting the ‘MH Mapo Housing’ project, which provides temporary residences and public rental housing to households facing housing crises and vulnerable groups, and operated a policy promotion booth on the day to share the project.
