KEPCO KDN, AI Chatbot for Bid Customer Consultation and Blockchain Recruitment

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] KEPCO KDN announced that it is conducting bidding customer consultations through an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot and has established a blockchain-based HR recruitment system.

KEPCO KDN stated that when accessing its electronic bidding site, the electronic bidding AI chatbot provides consultation services regarding company registration, bidding, contracts, and issuance of performance certificates.

The service mainly utilizes AI and natural language processing technologies combined with robotic process automation (RPA), a technology of the 4th Industrial Revolution.

Frequently asked questions have been categorized. Customer consultations are available year-round.

Previously simple and repetitive tasks have been digitized. Thanks to this, employees can focus on core tasks such as discovering differentiated business opportunities.

KEPCO KDN expects this to contribute to improving employee work efficiency and enhancing customer satisfaction related to public bidding operations.

To increase fairness and transparency in new employee recruitment, KEPCO KDN has been operating a blockchain-based HR recruitment system since the second half of last year.

The blockchain-based HR recruitment system functions to fundamentally prevent recruitment corruption and secure reliability.

It compares information stored in the database or recorded on the blockchain in real time. It prevents arbitrary changes to information during the recruitment process, such as documents and interview scores.

It also has a continuous monitoring system that can immediately detect any external attempts at forgery or tampering.

KEPCO KDN stated that it plans to continue applying blockchain technology to various tasks such as electronic bidding and power trading to enhance security and efficiency.
