[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] The production team of KBS2's 'Donkey Ears' announced that they are currently verifying the facts regarding Chef Choi Hyun-seok's alleged forgery of official documents.

On the 17th, the KBS2 variety show 'Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears' ('Donkey Ears') stated, "We are in the process of confirming the facts related to this issue."

Earlier that day, a media outlet reported that Choi Hyun-seok forged a contract against his former agency, Plating Company. The outlet claimed that Choi unilaterally terminated the contract by forging the exclusive contract.

According to the report, Choi destroyed the original contract and submitted a lawsuit to terminate management against Plating Company at the end of June last year using the forged contract.

The content of a recent episode of 'Donkey Ears' also sparked controversy.

On the December 22 broadcast of 'Donkey Ears' last year, a scene aired showing Choi Hyun-seok leaving the restaurant 'Choi.dat'. In the broadcast, he explained, "I ended up quitting because I could no longer work with the company," adding, "The main reason for quitting is the company's management style."

Meanwhile, it is also known that Choi Hyun-seok suffered from a mobile phone hacking incident. According to the media report, Choi was threatened with the distribution of videos using his private life as leverage, which was cited as the reason for modifying some clauses in the contract.
