Hana Financial Investment Signs Business Agreement with Access Capital Partners

Agreement with Global Asset Management Firm Managing 13 Trillion KRW
Expecting Synergy in European Infrastructure Investment Sector

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Hana Financial Investment announced on the 17th that it signed a "Strategic Partnership Agreement" with the Europe-based global asset management firm Access Capital Partners at the Hana Financial Investment headquarters in Yeouido on the 14th. The signing ceremony was attended by key executives from both companies, including Jin-guk Lee, President of Hana Financial Investment, and Agn?s Nahum, CEO of Access Capital Partners.


Access Capital Partners, established in 1998, is a private asset management firm with approximately 80 employees across six European offices (Paris, Brussels, Helsinki, London, Munich, Luxembourg) and manages assets under management (AUM) totaling 13 trillion KRW.


Access Capital Partners operates funds in three sectors: buyouts (PE), private debt, and infrastructure investment. Hana Financial Investment stated, "Especially in the infrastructure investment sector, they have executed 17 direct investments since 2008 and currently manage over 2 trillion KRW in this sector alone, so synergy is expected." Hana Financial Investment plans to leverage Access Capital Partners' professional network to introduce various European infrastructure assets to domestic investors.


Jin-guk Lee, President of Hana Financial Investment, said, "We are very pleased to become strategic partners with Access Capital Partners, a leading global asset management firm," adding, "Through this agreement, both companies will cooperate further to discover high-quality investment opportunities and strive to create value."


Agn?s Nahum, CEO of Access Capital Partners, said, "Through this strategic partnership agreement with Hana Financial Investment, a leader in the Korean alternative investment market, we will continue to supply valuable European infrastructure assets," and added, "We will also actively cooperate to enhance the status of Korean investors in Europe and to expand the successful investment base of Hana Financial Investment."
