JW Construction Has Been Engaging in Sharing Activities Since 2018 Through a Social Contribution Agreement with Good Neighbors Gwangju Seobu Branch
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Guk-yeop] Good Neighbors Gwangju Western Branch announced on the 16th that it held a donation ceremony for supporting children from at-risk families in the region, sponsored by JW Construction (CEO Choi Joo-won).
JW Construction entrusted a one-time donation through a social contribution agreement with Good Neighbors Gwangju Western Branch in December 2018 to promote the mental health of children and adolescents in the local community.
Since then, monthly regular donations have been made since 2019, and as a follow-up activity to the agreement, they plan to continue sharing activities by contributing a fixed fund every month this year as well.
Jung Yong-jin, head of Good Neighbors Gwangju Western Branch, said, “We express our gratitude for JW Construction’s continuous practice of sharing,” and added, “Good Neighbors Gwangju Western Branch will strive to help children from at-risk families in the community dream of a happier tomorrow with the warm hearts of JW Construction’s executives and employees.”
Choi Joo-won, CEO of JW Construction, stated, “I felt a sense of fulfillment participating in sharing with Good Neighbors, and we intend to continuously expand sharing so that we can support not only domestic but also overseas children’s dreams,” and added, “JW executives and employees will also make efforts to participate in sharing activities together.”
Meanwhile, Good Neighbors Gwangju Western Branch operates the ‘Good Mind Center’ to discover children who need services through early intervention and prevention projects for emotional and behavioral problems of children and adolescents.
In addition, through professional psychological treatment services, they contribute to reducing problematic behaviors, leading to the psychological and emotional stability of children and adolescents in the region, striving to create not only healthy emotions for children but also happy families and a society of coexistence.
