[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] SF9 member Rowoon shared his thoughts on the chart entry of their new song "Good Guy."

On the 15th broadcast of MBC FM4U's "Noon's Hope Song with Kim Shinyoung," SF9 members Rowoon, Chanhee, Inseong, and Hwiyoung appeared with their new song "Good Guy."

That day, Rowoon explained, "On the day of the showcase, while I was busy fixing my hair and makeup in the waiting room, 'Good Guy' entered the charts."

He continued, "It entered at a higher rank than our previous album, so I was stunned. I screamed for 20 seconds," which brought laughter from those around him.

Hearing this, Inseong also said, "Right before the showcase, I checked the music chart rankings, and I thought I might cry when I saw the fans, so I held back my tears during the showcase."

Rowoon also shared a behind-the-scenes story, saying, "I couldn't sleep the night before the comeback. I cried while talking to my parents on the phone. I tried not to show it, but the tears just came out."

Earlier, SF9 made a comeback about seven months after releasing their first full-length album "First Collection" on the 7th.

Currently, SF9 is actively promoting their comeback with "Good Guy." The song features luxurious sound making and a harmonious, trendy style, receiving great love from the public for its sophisticated and restrained charm.

Meanwhile, SF9 set a new personal record on the music charts on the 13th. The title track "Good Guy" entered Melon’s real-time chart at 58th place, surpassing their previous best of 81st with "Yeppojiji Ma." Notably, it even rose to 33rd place on the same chart at one point, proving its popularity.

SF9 is a nine-member boy group that debuted in 2016. Since then, they have promoted with songs like "O Sole Mio," "MAMMA MIA," and "RPM."
