13 Prospective Entrepreneurs Preparing to Open Stores

At the opening ceremony of the 'Experience Store' at Gyeongnam New Business Startup Academy held on the 13th, officials are taking a commemorative photo before the ribbon cutting.
The New Business Startup Academy is a project that selects prospective entrepreneurs with high growth potential and supports them with a package of theoretical education, store management experience education, and startup mentoring.
The experience store opened this time has an area of 475.3㎡ and includes a total of 14 individual stores, a conference room, and a multipurpose room. The 13 prospective entrepreneurs entering the experience store will start businesses with various new business ideas such as food service (5 people), art services (2 people), wholesale and retail (2 people), and educational services (1 person).
Graduates of the academy who complete the operation of the experience store will receive up to 20 million KRW in commercialization funds after evaluation of education results and business plans, and can borrow up to 100 million KRW in startup funds from the Small Enterprise and Market Service.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Enterprise and Market Service have been establishing New Business Startup Academies nationwide since 2015.
