Changwon Christian Association Donates Love Rice to Changwon City for 12th Consecutive Year

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jucheol In] The Changwon Christian Association donated 1,000 bags of 10kg "Rice of Love" on the 14th to be delivered to low-income families.

The donated Rice of Love will be distributed to 500 struggling households residing in Uichang-gu and Seongsan-gu through the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea. Since 2009, the Changwon Christian Association has been practicing neighborly love through the annual "Sharing Rice of Love" event.

Lee Changgyo, president of the association, said, "We hope that struggling families can spend a warm holiday through the Rice of Love filled with the warmth of neighbors."

Mayor Heo Seongmu expressed deep gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank the association for practicing the sharing of Rice of Love for 12 years," and added, "This will be a wonderful gift to add warmth and abundance to every citizen's home during the Lunar New Year."
