[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Heo Midam] Comedian Heo Kyunghwan recalled a past when he was buried in debt due to a betrayal by a business partner.

On the 14th, Heo Kyunghwan appeared on MBC's 'People Are Good' and revealed the reason he started a chicken breast business.

That day, he said, "My comedy didn't work out. It shouldn't have, but when I built my body and showed it, people cheered 'Wow.' I think I am among the first or second generation of bodybuilders. I thought about what I could do best and fastest, and since I ate a lot of chicken breast, I decided to start this business."

He said that at one point, his monthly sales reached 70 million won, but he took on a huge debt due to the betrayal of a business partner.

Heo Kyunghwan said, "When I met the factory owner and talked, I found out that (the business partner) had committed illegal acts. When the debt of 2 to 3 billion won suddenly exploded, it was very difficult. It was so hard that it felt like someone was choking me and I couldn't breathe."

He added, "At that time, I was doing radio, but I couldn't talk about my difficult story. I played songs and talked on the phone with the debt collectors. I was afraid this life would never end."
