SM "Reports of EXO Chen's church wedding are unfounded... It will be held privately"

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Sung-yeol] EXO member Chen announced his marriage news, and addressed reports claiming that the wedding had already taken place as unfounded.

On the 14th, Korea Sports Economy reported, "Chen held a wedding ceremony with his fianc?e at a church on the 13th, and the bride is seven months pregnant."

In response, Chen's agency SM Entertainment (SM) officially stated on the 14th, "The reports regarding the church wedding ceremony are groundless."

Earlier, on the 13th, Chen posted a handwritten letter on a fan community, saying, "I have a girlfriend with whom I want to spend my life," and "During that time, a blessing came," revealing the news of his marriage and premarital pregnancy.

The agency released an official statement saying, "Chen has met a precious partner and is getting married." They added, "The bride is a non-celebrity, and the wedding ceremony will be held solemnly with only the families of both sides attending."

Regarding the wedding, they stated, "According to the wishes of the families, all matters related to the wedding and marriage will be conducted privately, so we kindly ask for the generous understanding of fans and reporters."
