[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Sung-yeol] Comedian Young-gi's confession of suffering from Crohn's disease on 'Mr. Trot' has become a hot topic.

On the 9th, comedian and singer Young-gi appeared as a contestant in the Active Duty Division A on TV Chosun's entertainment program 'Tomorrow is Mr. Trot.'

Young-gi, a 17th generation MBC public recruitment comedian, chose Park Gun's 'Have a Drink' with the support of comedian senior Park Myung-soo and delivered a passionate performance.

Receiving 'All Hearts' from the masters for his lively and cheerful stage, Young-gi gave an interview after finishing his performance.

Young-gi revealed his battle with illness, saying, "I used to run around well, but I was recently diagnosed with Crohn's disease and underwent major surgery," adding, "When I go to events and work, I can't run around like before."

He showed tears, saying, "Even though I exercise hard, my stamina hasn't returned," and "I was worried whether I could last 2 minutes on stage, but I am very grateful."

In response, masters Kim Junsu and Boom praised him, saying, "We didn't feel any fatigue at all. It was a perfect stage."
