Successful Completion Ceremony of Dong-A University CEO Program 53rd Class Held

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yang Hee-jung] Dong-A University (President Han Seok-jeong) successfully held the 53rd graduation ceremony of the Graduate School of Business Administration's Advanced Management Program (AMP) on the 8th.

The ceremony, held at Dawoo Hall on the Bumin Campus, was attended by President Han, Choi Hyung-rim, Dean of the Graduate School of Business Administration, Shin Jeong-taek, President of the General Alumni Association, Ok Ki-moon, President of the AMP Alumni Association, graduates, and about 100 family members.

At this graduation ceremony, a total of 41 people received certificates. In particular, the graduate student council president of the 53rd class, Lee Seung-gyu, along with fellow graduate students, drew attention by donating 50 million won to the university development fund.

In his congratulatory speech, President Han said, “Dong-A University Graduate School of Business Administration's Advanced Management Program is a prestigious educational course that cultivates reputable leaders through the development of management skills and a rich human network among opinion leaders who lead our region.” He added, “Although these are economically challenging times, I hope all of you who have become part of the Dong-A family will vigorously build a successful future based on the academic knowledge you have honed.”

During the subsequent awards ceremony, Graduate Student Council President Lee, Senior Vice President Seong Cheol-ho, and Vice President Jeon Jong-seop received the President’s Plaque of Appreciation; 19 people including Advisory Committee member Kim Ji-wan received the Dean’s Plaque of Appreciation; three people including Auditor Kim Soon-gyu, Lee Hae-geun, and Jeong Myung-jin received the General Alumni Association President’s Plaque of Appreciation; and three people including Treasurer Park Hyun-jung, Jang Seong-pyo, and Jeong Jae-wook received the AMP Alumni Association President’s Plaque of Appreciation.

Additionally, five graduates including Kim Dong-gi received the Academic Excellence Award, and eleven graduates including Kim Kyung-beom received the Excellence Award.

Since its establishment in 1969, the Graduate School of Business Administration at Dong-A University has produced over 2,000 MBA alumni and more than 3,000 Advanced Management Program (AMP) alumni.
