[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lee Dong-seop, Acting Floor Leader of the Bareunmirae Party, criticized the personnel reshuffle carried out by Justice Minister Chu Mi-ae on the 9th, saying it was "as if Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, who was appointed despite the opposition party's extreme objections, was self-discredited."

At the floor policy meeting held at the National Assembly that day, Lee said, "The prosecution investigation line targeting the current administration, including allegations of Blue House interference in the Ulsan mayoral election and the cover-up of the Yoo Jae-soo inspection, has been virtually completely replaced."

Lee added, "Now, the investigation into these suspicions is very likely to lose momentum and fizzle out," and pointed out, "The public's evaluation of this personnel reshuffle is generally negative."

Lee said, "I am deeply concerned that this personnel reshuffle, aimed at averting the current administration's crisis, will ultimately become poison that will come back later."
